Pacific Landscape Management is a locally owned company that is very pleased to have been a part of the surrounding community here in Pacific, WA. We love this area of the State so much in fact that we have two more locations, one in Black Diamond, WA and the second in Maltby, WA. POSITION SUMMARY
Foreman-Lead, organize, and instruct crew members of a landscape Enhancements team on commercial and residential landscaping projects. Follow instructions given by your Enhancements manager or project manager. Efficiently perform enhancement jobs and tasks as assigned while maintaining parameters of the budget given. Follow company policies in attendance and time keeping. 2nd-ssist crew leader with loading and unloading of trucks and trailers with equipment used daily. Follow instructions given by Landscape Enhancements Supervisor. Perform landscape enhancements tasks as assigned. Follow company policies in attendance and time keeping.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform tasks assigned by Supervisor. This includes digging, installing hardscapes, irrigation installation, site clean-up, equipment/tool operation, various porter services. Loading lawn equipment, soils, mulch, and all tools necessary for each day. Unloading equipment and cleaning of truck each day. Drive truck & trailer. Skid steer & Mini-Excavator experience a plus Learn each project's job site rules & requirements. Safely operate all landscape equipment in accordance with state and federal laws. Ability to step in and execute daily plans for operations at jobsite if necessary Wear uniforms provided and present a professional appearance. Report to work on time every day. Must be able to safely use power tools, picks, wheelbarrows, and shovels. Work schedule flexibility depending on the season.
QUALIFICATIONS 18
years or older. Ability to legally work in the U.S. Prefer 1-2 years commercial / residential landscape maintenance experience. State of Washington Driver's License a must Bi-lingual English / Spanish speaking a bonus. Ability to identify PNW plant species a bonus. Must be dependable, on time, and have a "can-do" attitude. Must have the ability to perform manual labor, raking, mulching, weeding, debris pick up and removal. Ability to follow company safety protocols and procedures.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent standing for extended periods. Frequent walking. Occasional sitting and crawling. Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Occasional lifting and carrying up to 100 pounds with assistance. Able to handle and move materials and perform physical activities. Ability to work extended hours and in inclement weather. Frequent twisting at the torso and bending at the waist. Ability to safely climb and use ladders as needed.
