Full-Time Position Overview The Production Foreman is responsible for leading a team to deliver high-quality chimney builds, fireplace restorations, and masonry repairs. This role involves managing timelines, ensuring site safety, and maintaining the quality of work that keeps our reputation solid. The Production Foreman is responsible for the quality of work that is done on the job, and is also responsible for any mistakes that are made. As a result, the ideal candidates for this role are ones with strong leadership skills and problem solving skills to account for issues that may arise at any moment. Additionally, as a supervising role, it requires excellent communication skills, time management, and attention to detail so that nothing gets missed. Key Responsibilities Direct and supervise daily onsite activities for masonry and chimney crews, ensuring projects stay on schedule and meet our quality standards. Interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specs. You are also responsible for troubleshooting structural issues or material shortages before they become delays. Conduct final inspections on tuckpointing, crown repairs, liner installations, and full chimney rebuilds to ensure compliance with local building codes and
NFPA 211
standards. Enforce strict adherence to OSHA guidelines, particularly regarding scaffolding safety, fall protection, and air pollutant exposure. Act as the primary onsite point of contact for homeowners, explaining the progress of the work and addressing any immediate concerns with professionalism. Coordinate the delivery of materials (bricks, mortar, flue liners, etc.) and ensure all vehicles and tools are properly maintained. Responsible for ensuring the vehicles are fitted with the correct tools.
Required Skills & Experience Experience:
At least 5 years experience in masonry or chimney construction At least 2 years experience in a supervisory role.
Licensing:
A valid driver's license High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred but not required: CSIA certification Additional technical school training
Skills:
Proficiency in brick and stone laying, tuckpointing, flashing installation, and chimney relining Ability to work at heights on roofs, ladders and scaffolding, and on a lift Ability to lift at least 80 lbs Leadership and communication skills Strong organization and time management skills Knowledge of safety standards and industry standards Excellent ability to work under pressure and solve problems as they arise Knowledge of quality control standards Ability to speak Spanish not required but would be a bonus Category Requirement Experience 5+ years in masonry or chimney construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Technical Knowledge Proficiency in brick/stone laying, tuckpointing, flashing installation, and chimney relining systems. Physical Ability Must be comfortable working at heights (ladders/scaffolding) and lifting up to 80 lbs. Licensing Valid Driver's License (Required); CSIA or NCSG or NFI Certification (Highly Preferred). Soft Skills Strong bilingual communication (English/Spanish) is a major plus. Why Join Us?
