Service Foreman - Post‑Frame Construction Wick Buildings |Overnight Travel Required Wick Buildings is seeking an experienced Service Foreman to support our post‑frame construction customers across the Midwest. This role is responsible for leading and completing service work on existing buildings while upholding Wick s high standards for craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. This position requires near 100% travel and a high level of independence, sound judgment, and strong customer interaction skills. Key Responsibilities Perform service, repair, and corrective work on existing post‑frame buildings Serve as the on‑site decision‑maker-evaluating conditions and determining appropriate, cost‑effective, and safe solutions Communicate professionally with customers, addressing concerns and explaining work being performed Complete work efficiently with minimal supervision in varying jobsite environments Ensure all work complies with company standards, OSHA regulations, and Wick s robust safety policies Identify jobsite hazards and take immediate corrective action Maintain accurate documentation, photos, and service reports Represent Wick Buildings in a professional and customer‑friendly manner at all times Required Qualifications Proven post‑frame construction experience (required) Strong knowledge of post‑frame materials, systems, and field repairs Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage service tasks from start to finish Excellent judgment and problem‑solving skills in real‑world jobsite conditions Customer‑focused mindset with clear and respectful communication skills Extremely safety‑conscious with a strong commitment to safe work practices Ability to travel, including overnight stays Valid Class A CDL or ability to obtain, and an acceptable driving record Preferred Qualifications Previous foreman, lead, or service technician experience OSHA training or equivalent safety credentials Experience working directly with customers in a service or warranty environment Why Wick Buildings Industry leader in post‑frame construction since 1954 Strong safety culture with clear expectations and support Competitive pay based on experience Company‑provided tools and resources Employee-Owned ESOP Full benefit package Pay for travel time, per diem, and hotels are company-paid EOE
