Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of bringing building projects to life! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, assisting skilled tradespeople and contributing to the creation of residential, and renovation projects. As a Construction Laborer, you will perform physically demanding tasks with enthusiasm, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every project. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment while making a tangible impact through hands-on work. Duties Assist with heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment Operate power tools and hand tools such as drills, saws, hammers, and trowels to support various construction activities Prepare construction sites by setting up scaffolding, barricades, and safety signage in compliance with safety standards Support carpentry tasks including framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and drywall installation Aid in concrete-related work such as mixing concrete, pouring, and finishing for foundations or slabs Install rebar for reinforcement in concrete structures following schematics and blueprints Assist with masonry work including bricklaying, stucco application, tile laying, and stonework to enhance building aesthetics and durability Support roofing installation and repair projects by handing materials and assisting roofers on-site Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and ensure accurate execution of tasks Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or excavators when trained and certified to do so Perform demolition or restoration work as needed during renovation projects using appropriate tools and techniques Experience Prior construction site experience is highly preferred; familiarity with various trades enhances your effectiveness on the job Knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation is advantageous Hands-on experience with concrete finishing techniques is a plus Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently is essential. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique Experience working with hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, caulking guns is necessary.
