Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Worker and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! In this energetic role, you will perform a variety of tasks on construction sites, contributing to projects from initial framing to finishing touches. Your hands-on skills and enthusiasm will help build safe, durable, and high-quality structures. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise across multiple facets of construction while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist with heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to ensure smooth project flow. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support various construction activities Install rebar, form concrete structures, and perform concrete finishing to meet project specifications. Execute carpentry tasks including framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and metal stud framing. Apply finishing techniques such as plastering, stucco application, caulking, and tile laying for polished results. Support renovation and restoration projects by performing masonry, roofing, flooring installation, and masonry work. Use hand tools and power tools skillfully for tasks like cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Operate concrete pumps and mixers to ensure proper placement of concrete in various structures. Follow safety protocols diligently while working with heavy machinery or in hazardous environments Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience in construction or related fields with familiarity in site operations. Mechanical knowledge and understanding of construction estimating processes are highly desirable. Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and masonry work. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and blueprint reading. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights when necessary (roofing). Knowledge of schematics, metal stud framing, plastering, stucco application, caulking, and flooring installation. Valid driver's license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment is a plus. Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities on-site. Willingness to learn new skills such as welding or advanced renovation techniques is advantageous.
