Job Description
General Laborer Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to assist with various tasks on our construction site. This position involves supporting skilled tradespeople, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and performing physical labor as needed. The ideal candidate is punctual, safety-conscious, and able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment Assist with job site preparation and cleanup, including debris removal Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively Support carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled trades as directed Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Set up and remove temporary structures such as scaffolding, barriers, and signage Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or site foremen Qualifications Previous construction or general labor experience preferred, but not required Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong work ethic and willingness to take direction Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures Work Environment Outdoor construction site environment Exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, noise, and heavy equipment Work may take place in job trailers, offices, or active construction areas Work in extreme weather conditions may be required Work at elevated heights may be required BenefitsWe Offer Competitive Pay Paid Holidays and Vacation Life Insurance AD&D Insurance Direct Deposit Additional Benefits Available Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (employee medical coverage partially employer-paid) Long-Term Disability Insurance Additional Life Insurance Options This is a drug-free workplace.
