Job Description
CONSTRUCTION LABORER
Experienced Underground Construction Laborers. $20-25 Pay depending on experience levels.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Use hand and powers tools, including shovels, rakes, whacker, and concrete/asphalt saws.
- Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy.
- Must be able to listen and follow direction.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good critical thinking skills with the ability to observe and assess situations and anticipate issues before they occur.
- Employee may be required to work in environments that may include exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and noise.
- Keep worksite clean and organized. No unnecessary hazards.
- Assist with loading & unloading equipment and materials.
- Ability to operate equipment skid steer, mini excavator, compactor a plus.
- Knowledge of proper safety and maintenance protocols of the equipment aforementioned a plus.
- Experience working in a mining/industrial environment a plus. Requirements
- Safety - comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards of safety.
- Flexibility to stay late, when necessary, with little or no notice.
- Must have reliable transportation and be dependable.
- Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens (including marijuana)
- Valid Driver's License with clean 3-year driving record.
