General Laborer

General Laborer Devout Excavation LLC Full‑time | Family‑Owned Devout Excavation LLC , a family‑owned excavation and site‑development company, is seeking a hardworking and dependable General Laborer to join our team. We are a small but growing company that values strong work ethic, teamwork, and individuals who want to build a long‑term career in the construction industry. We work in new housing land development , underground utilities, demolition, roadway prep, site prep, and landscaping. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys hands‑on work, and thrives in an outdoor environment. Responsibilities Assist crews with daily excavation, grading, and utility installation tasks Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, picks, and wheelbarrows Perform job site cleanup and material handling Backfill trenches, prep work areas, and support equipment operators Assist with pipe installation, grading support, and layout as needed Safely work around heavy equipment on active construction sites Follow instructions from operators, grade checkers, and supervisors Maintain a clean and organized work environment Perform additional tasks as needed to support the project Requirements Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor Arizona conditions Willingness to learn and take direction Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude Ability to lift 50+ lbs as needed Reliable transportation to and from job sites Willingness to work as part of a team and assist wherever needed Preferred but Not Required Experience in excavation, construction, or landscaping Familiarity with basic tools and job site safety Ability to spot or communicate with equipment operators Experience with compaction equipment, saws, or power tools CDL or equipment operation experience is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Family‑focused company culture Work Location Job sites across Cottonwood, Arizona How to Apply Apply directly through Indeed OR send your resume to: lquern@devoutexcation.
