Job Description

SUMMARY Under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Director, the Summer General Laborer will perform non-specialized indoor and outdoor manual labor.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Maintain aesthetics of outdoor space by raking leaves and removing debris. Trim and shape shrubbery and trees to enhance appearance. Manicures lawns by cutting, weeding, and raking grass. Performs window washing duties to maintain cleanliness of premises. Applies paint to surfaces to refresh and improve overall look and quality of areas. Supports heavy duty tasks in kitchen and cafeteria operations to ensure efficiency and smooth workflow. Moves furniture and equipment to designated locations as part of maintenance or reorganization tasks. Supports upkeep of building and equipment maintenance and repair. Performs other related duties as required by supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Training, and Experience Guidelines Ability to follow oral and written directions. Ability to work well with others. Ability to lift average to heavy weights, bend, stoop, reach and climb.
