General Laborer

GA Technical Services, Inc. is hiring dependable General Laborers to assist with electrical construction work at active California state prison facilities in Delano, CA. This is a prevailing wage public works project supporting electrical and EV infrastructure installation projects for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR). Job Duties Assist electricians and foremen on active construction projects Help with trenching, digging, backfilling, and site cleanup Load, unload, and transport materials and tools Assist with conduit installation and pulling wire Operate basic hand and power tools Help maintain a clean and safe jobsite Follow all OSHA and prison security procedures Perform other construction labor tasks as assigned Requirements Construction labor experience preferred but not required Must be able to pass CDCR prison clearance/background screening Clean background strongly preferred (no recent felony convictions or issues preventing prison access) Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be able to lift 50+ lbs Reliable transportation required Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn Preferred Qualifications Experience on construction or public works projects OSHA 10 Certification Experience using basic construction tools and equipment Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
