General Construction Worker

Job Overview Esmeralda Construction Inc. is seeking a motivated and driven General Construction Laborer / Apprentice to join our high-performance crew. This role is designed for individuals who want to develop real skills across multiple trades while working on high-end residential and commercial projects, including pools, ADUs, and custom outdoor living spaces. You will work directly alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment where quality, accountability, and growth are expected. This is not an entry-level "show up and get by" position — this is an opportunity to build a long-term career in construction. Duties Assist with grading, excavation, and site preparation for residential and commercial construction projects. Support the installation and execution of work across multiple trades, including concrete, framing, plumbing, and electrical tasks. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times. Follow direction from supervisors while also taking initiative to complete tasks efficiently. Work alongside experienced crew members to learn proper construction methods and best practices. Contribute to delivering high-quality, detail-oriented results on every project. Adapt to changing job site conditions and priorities while maintaining productivity. Qualifications Candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of general construction experience in areas such as concrete, framing, plumbing, or electrical. Candidates must have reliable transportation to travel to various job sites as required. Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds consistently. Candidates must possess strong physical stamina and be comfortable working in outdoor environments for extended periods. Candidates must be able to bend, kneel, lift, and stand for long durations throughout the workday. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills when working with team members and supervisors. Candidates must be adaptable, dependable, and able to maintain a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.
