As a proud union employer, we're currently hiring skilled and motivated professionals to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Union Laborers and Foremen to perform and lead commercial fence installation projects. This is a union position requiring current or prospective membership in Local 324 . Ideal candidates are reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced in working on large-scale job sites.
Responsibilities:
Laborer Duties:
Assist with the installation of commercial fencing: chain link, ornamental, security, and specialty systems. Prepare sites by digging post holes, mixing concrete, setting posts, and ensuring structural alignment. Operate basic construction equipment including skid steers, augers, and saws. Load/unload materials and assist in material staging on job sites. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow instructions from crew leads and foremen. Foreman Duties (if applicable): Lead a crew of laborers on assigned projects, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and specifications. Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors. Track daily progress, crew hours, and material usage. Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and union safety guidelines. Train and mentor less experienced crew members.
Requirements:
Must be a current member of Local 324 or have been in the past. 2+ years of commercial fence installation or construction experience (Foreman applicants should have 3-5+ years and prior leadership experience). Strong understanding of construction site safety. Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding labor. Valid driver's license Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
