Construction Laborer

Construction Laborer We are a busy and growing construction firm seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborers to join our team. This position will support a variety of construction, maintenance, and industrial projects throughout Southern California. We are looking for motivated individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate and properly maintain construction equipment and tools Assist equipment operators, carpenters, welders, and other skilled trades as needed Prepare job sites by removing hazards and maintaining clean work areas Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment Assemble and dismantle temporary structures, including scaffolding and barricades Dig, fill, compact, and move earth and materials as required Follow directions from supervisors, foremen, and project managers Support various crafts and trades on active job sites Participate in on-the-job training and learn company procedures and safety standards Perform general labor duties and site clean-up daily Work safely in compliance with OSHA, railroad, and company safety requirements Requirements Minimum 18 years of age Valid driver's license required Ability to pass a background check Construction labor experience required Ability to lift heavy materials and perform strenuous physical labor Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Dependable, punctual, and hardworking Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience working in industrial or railroad environments OSHA certifications are a plus Welding, fencing, concrete, asphalt, or demolition experience is beneficial Ability to travel occasionally for out-of-town projects is a plus Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity for overtime Career growth opportunities Hands-on training and development Work with an established and respected construction company
