Construction Laborer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Construction Laborer to support day-to-day operations on construction sites. This role involves a variety of physical tasks including site preparation, material handling, and assisting skilled tradespeople. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up materials Load, unload, and transport construction materials and equipment Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision Support skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) as needed Maintain a clean and organized job site Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and demolition Help with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials Report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous construction or labor experience is a plus, but not required Ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs) and perform physically demanding work Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Reliable transportation to job sites Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Work Environment:

Outdoor and indoor construction sites Exposure to varying weather conditions Physically demanding work requiring standing, bending, lifting, and climbing

Schedule:

Full-time, with possible overtime and weekend work depending on project needs

Compensation & Benefits:
