MRF General Laborer Waste Connections $21.00 / hr life insurance, flexible benefit account, 401(k) United States, California, Ukiah May 07, 2026 Ukiah Waste Solutions, a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a General Laborer at ourMaterial Recovery Facility in Ukiah, CA! The starting pay will be $21.00 per hour. Pay range for this job category is $20-$21/hr. We also offer great family benefits, a 401k match, paid vacation, etc. The schedule will be Monday - Friday 4AM, working 8 to 10 hour shifts. Overtime opportunity available. Responsibilities Include:

Sortingout garbage from therecyclingmaterial on the conveyor belt Bailing cardboard Maintaining the cleanliness of therecyclingarea Assuming custodial duties as needed, such as sweeping, and sanitizing Other manual labor as needed Operate a Forklift - training provided

Requirements:

Must be able to will work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to stand continually through entire 8 hour shift Must be able to work outdoors Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
