In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and assisting with construction site activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. Your expertise in equipment operation and construction processes will be vital in supporting our ongoing projects and maintaining a productive work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery and contribute to impactful infrastructure development. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, with precision and safety. Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, paving, and material transportation to support construction workflows. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly. Follow safety protocols diligently while operating machinery and working around active construction sites. Support team members in setting up work zones, loading/unloading materials, and maintaining site cleanliness. Assist with the setup and operation of specialized equipment like Caterpillar machinery and tanker trucks for various construction tasks. Maintain accurate records of equipment use, inspections, and project progress to ensure compliance with safety standards. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, horizontal drills, and tankers. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety and efficiency. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for operating large vehicles like dump trucks and water trucks. Familiarity with construction processes including paving, grading, horizontal drilling, and site preparation using Caterpillar or similar equipment. Knowledge of safety standards relevant to heavy equipment operation in construction environments. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality.
