Job Description
Overview Looking for reliable Fence Laborers. Locations vary across New Haven & Fairfield Counties. Construction experience is required, fence experience is a plus! This role is a 1099-Independent Contractor position. Hours will vary, but must be available 7am-4pm Monday-Friday with occasional weekend work. This role offers the opportunity to work outdoors on diverse Residential & Commercial construction projects, utilizing your construction skills to build and repair fences that stand the test of time. This position provides a hands-on experience that keeps you active and engaged. Safety, teamwork, and craftsmanship are a priority, ensuring every project is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Assist in the installation and repair of various types of fences using hand tools and power tools Prepare job sites Operate equipment & tools safely Perform concrete work and setting posts securely into the ground Support landscape maintenance for the duration of the job Follow safety protocols diligently while handling materials like wood, vinyl, metal, and concrete Collaborate with crew and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards Requirements Prior experience in construction Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other construction-related machinery Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and procedures Experience working on construction sites with an emphasis on fencing or similar structures is a plus Reliable work ethic with excellent teamwork skills and attention to detail Must have reliable transportation (job sites vary across New Haven & Fairfield Counties)
