Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver and Construction Laborer, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and supporting construction projects with physical labor. This energetic position combines the responsibilities of safely transporting goods to various locations with hands-on construction assistance. You'll be the friendly face representing our company on the road, delivering excellent customer service while also contributing to building sites through heavy lifting and equipment operation. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver materials and products to clients, job sites, or warehouses. Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols. Follow designated routes efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery schedules and documentation. Assist construction crews by moving materials, tools, and equipment around job sites with heavy lifting and manual labor tasks. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and report any mechanical issues promptly. Support warehouse operations by organizing inventory, preparing shipments, and ensuring safety standards are met. Qualifications Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly preferred, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently. Experience with warehouse operations including loading/unloading, forklift operation (certification preferred), and use of pallet jacks. Physical strength for heavy lifting, moving materials, and working on construction sites. Strong customer service skills with clear communication abilities. Familiarity with route driving and delivery procedures in various environments. Knowledge of safety protocols related to driving, lifting, and construction work.
