Job Description

Job Overview:
The Utility Construction Helper will be responsible for being a part of the sewer and water/utility construction division of Chesapeake Plumbing & Heating, Inc. We are currently hiring a Utility Construction Helper for our location in Odessa, DE. The right individual thrives in a very fast paced environment, works well under pressure, and delivers with a "no excuses, make it happen" attitude. You must possess strong judgment skills, be able to manage challenging situations, handle administrative tasks, excel with technology, and demonstrate solid written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate effectively balances multiple priorities and works well independently.

Job Duties:
Install underground sewer, water, and conduit systems Install sewer, water, and conduit laterals

Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills Experience in sewer & water installation (preferred) Flexible schedule Ability to work on Saturdays - when necessary Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail Ability to be proactive Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
