Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! As a Construction Laborer, you will assist skilled tradespeople by performing physically demanding tasks, operating various tools and equipment, and ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. Your hands-on effort will help bring construction visions to life while gaining valuable experience across multiple facets of the industry. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Assist with heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and scaffolding setups under supervision Support rebar installation, concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and concrete pumping tasks to ensure quality craftsmanship Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to follow project specifications accurately Perform masonry work including stucco, tile laying, flooring installation, and restoration projects as needed Conduct framing with metal studs or wood for interior walls or structural components Support carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, roofing, caulking, plastering, and drywall installation Assist with demolition or renovation activities by removing old materials and preparing surfaces for new work Operate heavy machinery like forklifts or other heavy equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with safety protocols Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and team members Skills Mechanical knowledge combined with practical experience using hand tools and power tools on construction sites Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading for accurate task execution Proficiency in rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry, stucco application, and tile laying techniques Ability to operate heavy equipment such as cranes or concrete pumps safely and effectively Knowledge of schematics, metal stud framing, framing carpentry, roofing techniques, and restoration methods Experience with renovation projects including drywall installation, flooring setup, plastering, caulking and trim carpentry Familiarity with commercial driving for transporting materials or equipment between sites Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks along with stamina to perform demanding labor throughout the day Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards safety standards and quality workmanship This role is ideal for individuals passionate about construction who want to build a solid foundation for their career while contributing meaningfully to diverse projects.
