Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking General Laborers in the field of heavy civil and site construction. This position is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations at a job site. Their duties include loading and unloading tools or raw materials, equipment and digging, shoveling or filling in pits throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
Wear required PPE, follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific safety requirements. Participate in daily safety meetings and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Perform manual labor tasks including digging, trenching, grading, raking, shoveling, backfilling, and site cleanup. Assist pipe crews with installation of storm drainage, water, sewer, and underground utility systems. Support earthwork operations including excavation, grading, compaction, and stabilization activities. Assist paving crews with asphalt placement, roadway preparation, rolling, patching, and finish work. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, compactors, saws, and other small construction equipment. Assist heavy equipment operators and serve as a spotter during excavation, grading, paving, and hauling operations. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs, load/unload, transport, and organize materials, tools, pipe, and paving supplies. Perform basic equipment and tool inspections and report maintenance or repair needs. Work collaboratively with crew members and project personnel in varying outdoor and weather conditions.
