In this hands-on role, you will assist with general cleanup, debris removal, and support various restoration projects. Your efforts will help maintain a safe work environment while contributing to the successful completion of construction and restoration jobs. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of construction sites, including debris removal, trash hauling, and surface sweeping to maintain safety and efficiency. Assist with water damage restoration projects by removing standing water, setting up drying equipment, and cleaning affected areas. Support fire restoration efforts through debris cleanup, soot removal, and surface cleaning to restore properties to their original condition. Assist in various errands throughout the week Help with carpet cleaning, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement procedures following industry standards and safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness of work areas by organizing tools, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring all materials are stored securely. Collaborate with team members to complete project tasks efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines and company policies. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, construction cleanup or restoration industry preferred. Knowledge of fire damage and water damage restoration processes. Familiarity with mold remediation techniques and asbestos abatement procedures is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, brooms, squeegees, and basic power tools safely. Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and OSHA regulations. Excellent physical stamina for lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and performing physically demanding tasks. Effective communication skills to work seamlessly within a team environment.
