Solar Laborer Lead - Middle Lake

Solar Laborer Lead SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Solar Laborer Lead that will be responsible for the preparation, handling, and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures Supervise and coordinate activities of laborers and their assigned roles Interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge capacities of equipment and assigned personnel Study/analyze in schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job Analyze and resolve work problems Maintain time records Make cost estimate for contracts 1. Use logical step-by-step procedures in work 2. Plan work and solve problems 3. Make decisions based on measurable information 4. May operate machinery Provide work direction to laborer I, II, Journeyman, Apprentice, and Helpers Work according to standard, detailed instructions and established, well-defined procedures Determine work method from alternative Work under broad assignment Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in construction preferred Ability to work with tools and equipment such as power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers; forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies Strong teamwork orientation; positive attitude and professional customer service skills; detail orientation; active listening skills and effective communication, including an openness to diverse input and feedback Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements •Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
