GENERAL CONSTRUCTION LABOR NEEDED (Pinellas, Hillsborough &Pasco County)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively on various construction projects. This role involves performing a range of tasks that support the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Responsibilities Assist in the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively, including but not limited to saws, drills, and concrete mixers. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements. Perform tasks related to carpentry, including framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, and cabinet installation. Engage in concrete forming and finishing activities as required for various projects. Support plumbing and electrical work under the supervision of qualified professionals. Conduct masonry tasks such as bricklaying and stucco application. Participate in restoration efforts for existing structures, including remodeling and hardscape installations. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition; report any malfunctions or safety concerns. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred; familiarity with construction site operations is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely. Knowledge of construction management practices, estimating techniques, and inspection processes is advantageous. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Experience with various construction tasks including welding, flooring installation, tile laying, caulking, plastering, roofing, glass installation, fabrication, concrete forming/finishing, heavy equipment operation is a plus. Strong physical stamina; ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) and perform manual labor for extended periods. Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on communication and collaboration within diverse teams. A commitment to safety practices on the job site.
