Residential Construction Worker

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in a construction role.

General Work Tasks:

Perform a range of services including: Perform general carpentry, including framing and finish trim work; Complete drywall installation, repair, spackling and texturing; Execute high quality tile work (floors, backsplashes, showers, etc.); Paint interior and exterior surfaces, including surface prep and finishing; Apply caulking to windows, doors, baseboards, and wet areas; Assist with demolition and debris removal; Maintain clean, safe work areas in clients' occupied homes; Vaccuum, prep and protect surfaces as needed; Follow company standards and respect homeowners' spaces.

Work Ethic:

Strong reliability and dependability.

Independence:

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements:

Capable of walking, lifting weights of 50 pounds or more, standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders.

Indoor and Outdoor Work:

Must be able to work in various weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, and rain.

PPE:

Required to wear personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses/goggles, safety vests, gloves, and safety-toe boots.

Job Orders:

Interpret and follow job orders as required.

Task Execution:

Complete tasks assigned by the project manager within the designated timeframe and budget.

Team Collaboration:

Work effectively with others, clients, subcontractors, and other trades.

Communication:

Keep project managers informed to ensure their needs are met.

Preparedness:

Arrive at job sites with necessary materials and tool

Jobsite Housekeeping:

Ensure job sites are clean and orderly at the end of the day.

Licensing:

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportations.

Screening:

Candidates will undergo a pre-employment drug screening and may be subject to a background check.
