In this role, you'll be an essential part of the crew, assisting with a variety of tasks that keep construction sites moving forward efficiently and safely. Your hands-on work will support everything from foundational work to finishing touches, ensuring high-quality results on every project. This position offers a paid opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while contributing to exciting construction endeavors. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and equipment. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, or concrete finishing. Support the installation of rebar, metal studs, and other structural components following blueprints and schematics. Help with concrete mixing, pouring, pumping, and finishing to achieve smooth, durable surfaces. Participate in masonry work including bricklaying, stucco application, or tile laying as needed. Assist with heavy lifting and movement of materials using appropriate equipment or manual techniques. Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Skills Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in construction. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material requirements. Hands-on experience with concrete forming, finishing, and pouring techniques. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes (certification preferred). Understanding of different construction disciplines including carpentry, roofing, restoration, and metal stud framing.
