Night Shift Dry Kiln General Labor

We are looking for entry level Dry Kiln general laborers, no experience necessary, will train. The ideal candidate is reliable and able to work safely with attention to detail, while also looking to improve the processes in place. Job Duties include but not limited to the following: Placing metal spacers on poles between each layer on a buggy, ensuring each pole is flush and straight, chaining each buggy bolster to ensure stability and to fit inside the kiln. Removing metal spacers once the kiln charge is complete and ready for unloading poles Banding Wood Poles for shipping Daily housekeeping Adhere to safety protocols Additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

The ability to stand continuously, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls Frequently reach overhead with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend crouch, or crawl Climb or balance frequently Capable of lifting 50 lbs. or more

Requirements:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and oral instructions Attention to detail This is a NIGHT Shift Days and Hours are subject to change with appropriate notice according to growth and potential expansion. Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday 4 days 10 hour shifts 8pm-5:30am
