The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a passion for craftsmanship. The Laborer will work collaboratively with other tradespeople to ensure high-quality results on all projects. Essential Responsibilities Works from blueprints, sketches, and drawings in addition to verbal and written descriptions to determine materials and equipment required to accomplish the job. Communicates results to Project Foreman for review and changes as necessary. Assists with lays out, cuts, saws, joins, glues, and assembles lumber, rough framing, and allied materials in the repair of buildings including window screen repairs/constructing new screens, addition to existing buildings and renovations And other general laborer duties. Evaluates and adheres to the construction schedule provided by the Project Foreman. Assists with Install of wood or steel framing to rough-in windows, doors, walls, dry walls, acoustic soundproofing, thermal insulation in ceilings and walls, air conditioning window units, ceiling fans, floors, ceilings, stairs, decorative paneling, laminated plastics, and acoustical tile in interior and exterior structures, and other carpentry related work. Rough Carpentry includes
  • Residential construction wood framing ground up construction, large additions & full remodeling. Commercial Tenant Improvement which involves multiple different disciplines in the field. Concrete & Masonry experience a plus Finish Carpentry Includes
  • Builds closets, counters, shelves, cabinets, doors, bulletin boards, white boards, windows, and wall panels and other related finish carpentry items, including installation of hardware. Other duties include
  • Dismantles/demolishes and removes designated items prior to the commencement of repairs, new construction or renovation as needed. Miscellaneous duties that include dismantling and cleaning door locks, installing and adjusting door closures. Position Requirements Minimum Qualifications
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the requirements listed.
High school diploma/GED.
