$115/day (when traveling) Position Options Local Work At a manufacturing facility Home every night Traveling Work 5-day pulls: Monday-Friday, home on weekends 10-day pulls: 10 days on / 4 days off at home About the Role We are seeking entry-level millwright or mechanically inclined candidates . Training is available for the right individuals. This company specializes in agricultural construction, deconstruction, and rigging , including moving and installing equipment inside plants and facilities. Work includes dismantling and installing grain-handling equipment inside processing plants, as well as building and dismantling grain elevators and conveyor systems. Job Duties May Include Working on conveying systems, motors, gears, bearings, flow meters, and bagging systems Ironwork, assembly, and erection of structural steel for equipment installation Performing non-critical welding Reading and interpreting shop drawings Assisting with rigging, lifting, anchoring, leveling, and aligning equipment Precision installation of machinery and components Work Environment Agricultural processing plants, ethanol plants, and grain elevators Frequent work for ADM and Cargill in the Cedar Rapids area Indoor and outdoor work depending on the project Typically working in crews of 4-5 with a foreman or superintendent Schedule Generally 7:00am-5:00pm , with hours varying based on project needs This is a strong opportunity for candidates looking to build a long-term career in industrial and agricultural construction with hands-on training and advancement potential. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
