Laborer

BASIC FUNCTION

Under general supervision maintains equipment and casino related functions. Performs cleaning tasks and operations of various types of equipment to care for and maintain assignment building and related facilities. Performs related work as required.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

N/A SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Moves and arranges furniture and equipment. Picks up and washes down patio and grounds. Shovels or plows snow, cuts and trims grass and bushes using power and hand tools. Maintains tractors, graders, trucks, mowers, and related equipment. Pushes, shoves, lifts, pulls, paints, cleans shops and storage areas. Assists mechanical maintenance in any way he/she can. Notifies management concerning need for repairs. Investigate maintenance requests, repair if able Basic construction Painting

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma.

STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

Following oral and written instructions. Performs unskilled and semi-skilled tasks in a variety of construction and maintenance activities. Learning to perform journeyman level work in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and

HVAC. MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions. Perform heavy physical labor Lift 50lbs

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS

Worker is subject to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, including extremes in heat and cold. Subject to noise, and vibration. Subject to hazards (moving mechanical parts, electrical current, scaffolding, exposure to chemicals). Subject to atmospheric conditions affecting the respiratory system or skin (fumes, dusts, mists, gasses, poor ventilation). Subject to oils and other cutting fluids In certain situations, it is required to wear a respirator.
