This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from water, sewer, storm, heavy civil, earthmoving and more contributing to critical infrastructure development. You will collaborate with skilled tradespeople, laying pipe, helping install geotextiles, installing erosion control measures, and more and ensuring that all work meets safety and quality standards. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to develop your skills as a labor, this position is perfect for you! Responsibilities Assist with the installation of underground pipelines, ensuring precise placement according to blueprints and specifications Operate Jumping Jacks, Plate Compactors and Hot Saws in addition to power tools. Install erosion control measures such as silt fence, wattles and more. Lay Geotextiles for the placement of gravel on roads. General labor duties around the construction site. Help set manholes to grade, assemble and grout them. Help with the assembly of hydrants, valves, meters, blow offs, air vacs and fittings. Qualifications Experience with hot saws, chain saws and power tools. Experience with Jumping Jacks, Plate Compactors and more. Experience with utility locating, potholing, and preventing damage Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions This role offers a vibrant environment where your skills contribute directly to impactful infrastructure projects.
