This role focuses on urban and public infrastructure improvements, including concrete, pavers, and site furnishings. This is a hands-on position with growth opportunities for individuals who demonstrate skill, reliability, and leadership potential. Key ResponsibilitiesField Execution Assist with installation of sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and concrete flatwork Install pavers, retaining walls, and hardscape features Perform site preparation (grading, excavation, compaction) Support form setting and concrete preparation Install streetscape elements such as: Benches Bollards Trash receptacles Signage Follow plans, specifications, and supervisor direction Production & Efficiency Complete tasks efficiently to meet production goals Maintain quality while working at a consistent pace Minimize rework and material waste Safety Follow all company safety policies and procedures Properly use PPE and equipment Report hazards or incidents immediately Team Support Work collaboratively with crew members and leadership Maintain clean and organized job sites Represent Sunshine Landscape professionally QualificationsRequired 1-3+ years of construction, landscaping, or related experience Ability to perform physical labor (lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors) Basic knowledge of tools and jobsite safety Reliable transportation Preferred (Higher Pay Consideration) Experience with streetscape or public works projects Concrete experience (forming, pouring, finishing) Paver or hardscape installation experience Ability to read basic construction plans Certifications (increase starting pay): Welding certification Concrete certification Paver/Hardscape installation certification Equipment operation experience (skid steer, mini excavator, etc.) Bilingual (English/Spanish) Work Environment Outdoor work in all weather conditions Physically demanding role Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Why Join Sunshine Landscape?
