Position Overview:
The Landscape Construction Laborer supports daily operations on landscape construction jobsites. This is a hands-on, entry-level role where you'll assist with installation work and help complete projects safely and efficiently. It's a great opportunity for someone looking to get started or grow in the landscaping or construction industry. Key Responsibilities Assist with site preparation, installation, and cleanup for landscape construction projectsUse hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, and wheelbarrows safely and effectively Dig trenches for irrigation and drainage systems Move and distribute materials such as soil, rock, mulch, and gravel Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials from trucks and trailers Operate small equipment (trenchers, augers, compact machinery) with training Support irrigation and drainage installation under direction of crew leaders Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines Work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors and foremen Previous landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor experience is a plus (not required) Strong work ethic and reliability—show up ready to work every day Ability to follow directions and work well with a crew Willingness to learn new skills and take on physical work Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods Work Environment Outdoor work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, light rain) Exposure to dust, noise, and typical construction site conditions Fast-paced, team-oriented job sites What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities as available On-the-job training and skill development Opportunity for growth within the company Supportive, team-focused work environment
