About us We are professional, innovative, fast-paced and our goal is to complete construction projects from the ground up. We expect our employees to be very knowledgeable about all aspects of the construction field. Job Description BroCity Constructuon is looking for a General Laborer to join our team. The General Laborer will work in a team setting to form concrete, sheetrock, roof, frame, install siding, windows, or flooring, for new construction or repair projects, residential and commercial. This position requires a hands on approach to all areas of the trade. The ideal candidate will have expirence forming concrete using a powerhammer, pmumatic nail gun, and other tools, and overall construction expirence. Must be able to work in a team enviornment and be able to work on feet for extended periods of time, sometimes in extreme weather. Duties and Responsibilities Install, remove, or finish concrete according to specifications or as required by client or project manager. Clean and prepare materials, load and transport materials safely. Prepare surfaces for pouring of concrete by scraping, sanding, or rough-texturing. Perform physical labor when necessary to complete projects. Follow instructions of supervisors to ensure completion of projects on time. Operate power tools as needed. Pour concrete using various types of masonry tools such as trowels, chisels, and gouges. Knowledgable about using Symon concrete forms for concrete walls and curbs. Inspect and verify quality of finished product. Clean up job site after completed project. Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
