This position offers opportunities to develop skills across multiple facets of masonry and general construction, contributing to residential, restoration projects. Duties Scaffolding Building Mixing mortar by hand or by mechanical mixer, load material on scaffolding Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings for accurate execution of work Aid in demolition, restoration, and site cleanup to maintain a safe work environment Collaborate with team members on material requirements when necessary Requirements Prior experience in construction or masonry preferred; blueprint reading is a plus Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and safety protocols on construction sites Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods Valid safety training certifications (if applicable) are preferred but not mandatory Reliable transportation to job sites; ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment
