Position Overview We are hiring a Sealcoat Laborer to join our asphalt maintenance division. This is a hands on, physically active position working on commercial parking lots and private properties. You will assist with sealcoating, crack filling, surface preparation, and jobsite setup while working alongside a professional crew. This is not a "just show up" job. We're looking for someone who takes pride in production, professionalism, and doing the job right. Responsibilities Assist with sealcoat application (spray and squeegee) Perform asphalt crack filling and surface prep Blow off and edge pavement before application Load materials and manage hoses Set up barricades and assist with traffic control Maintain clean and professional jobsites Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance Support pavement marking and minor asphalt repairs when needed Perform asphalt sealcoating applications on parking lots and driveways Assist with crack filling using hot rubber and other repair materials Clean and prepare surfaces using blowers, brooms, weed trimmers, and pressure washers Mask and protect curbs, sidewalks, drains, and buildings Assist with line striping and pavement markings Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment Operate equipment safely including Sealcoat spray systems, Squeegee systems, Crack fill kettles, Blowers, Power tools Maintain a clean and organized jobsite Follow company SOPs and safety procedures Complete daily job photos and documentation when required Communicate professionally with foremen, coworkers, and customers Help maintain trucks, trailers, and equipment What We're Looking For Strong work ethic Reliable and on time Positive attitude and team mindset Ability to lift 50+ lbs Comfortable working outdoors in heat Willing to learn and grow Experience in asphalt sealcoating, paving, concrete, or construction is preferred but not required Asphalt sealcoating Crack filling Line striping Asphalt patching Skid steer or equipment operation Commercial parking lot work Our Core Values We hire based on character first: Ownership Integrity Communication Service Quality Craftsmanship If those values align with you, you'll fit well here.
