Job Description

Remodeling & Installation Technician / Carpenter (Construction) We are seeking a skilled and dependable Remodeling & Installation Technician/Construction to join our team. This position involves residential remodeling and finish construction work, including cabinet installation, tile work, flooring installation, bathroom remodeling, framing, window installation, and general carpentry. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience using power and hand tools, and the ability to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities Install kitchen and bathroom cabinets accurately and securely Lay floor and wall tile, including proper surface preparation and grout application Remodel bathrooms, including demolition, fixture installation, trim work, and finishing tasks Install various flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, vinyl plank, and tile Measure, cut, and install laminate countertops Perform framing for walls, floors, and remodeling projects Install and replace windows according to manufacturer and building code requirements Level uneven floors using appropriate methods and materials Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and project specifications Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely Maintain clean and organized job sites Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members Follow all safety procedures and building codes Qualifications Experience in residential remodeling or finish carpentry preferred Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools Ability to accurately measure and complete detailed finish work Experience with tile installation, flooring systems, and cabinet installation Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred Skills Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge Drywall installation and finishing Trim carpentry and painting experience Ability to troubleshoot leveling and structural issues Work Environment Residential construction and remodeling sites Indoor and occasional outdoor work Frequent standing, kneeling, lifting, bending, and climbing Job Type Full-time Pay Based on experience Benefits Paid time off
