ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean buildings, equipment, tunnels, and hose-down or pressure wash tanks at the facility Operate various types of tools & equipment associated with building and grounds maintenance at the Wastewater Facility and numerous offsite locations including but not limited to: operation of floor scrubbers, floor sweepers, push lawn mowers, lawn tractors, weed eaters, Bobcat, hedge trimmers, shovels, rakes, brooms, mops, vacuums, etc. Maintain grounds and fence lines at various locations. Keep areas free of weeds. Clean various City vehicles Paint exterior and interior facilities, piping, tanks, and equipment Aid and assist in Parts Room Aid and assist other maintenance and operations personnel Perform minor building/system repairs. Replace lightbulbs. Climb and work from ladder or high places, open tanks or confined spaces to accomplish tasks Maintain clean and safe work areas, tools and equipment. Climb ladders. Must be able to work in high places, around open tanks and in confined spaces. Remain alert at all times Interact with co-workers and the public with tact and diplomacy Maintain a positive attitude and consistent performance Manage time, make sound decisions and work independently Follow directions and relay work progress in an effective manner Follow safety procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and maintaining a safe work environment. KNOWLEDGE/ABILITY

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 18 years of age or older No prior experience or training necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment will include both working inside and working outside in various weather conditions (extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, snow, etc.). The employee may work near moving mechanical parts, around fumes or airborne particles, and be exposed to oils, greases, solvents, and other chemicals that may be hazardous. Noise conditions can vary from quiet to very loud.
SCHEDULE
7:00am and 3:30pm Monday-Friday.
