Job Title:
Construction Laborer Job Description Join our team as a Construction Laborer, where you will perform various manual tasks in concrete and masonry construction projects. Responsibilities include preparing surfaces for concrete, shoveling concrete, and general labor tasks. Responsibilities Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor in concrete and masonry construction projects. Prepare surfaces for concrete application. Shovel concrete into designated areas. Maintain a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment and securing the site daily to eliminate hazards. Handle and store materials efficiently. Load and unload trucks, haul, and hoist materials. Ensure adherence to safety procedures and proper incident reporting. Essential Skills Knowledge of equipment, materials, and supplies used in concrete and masonry construction. Understanding of first aid and applicable safety precautions. Ability to work independently and adhere to work schedules. Capacity to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous physical labor under challenging conditions. Strong oral and written communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with general labor, hand tools, power tools, forms, and framing. 1+ years of experience in concrete and commercial construction. Safety gear including steel-toed boots, a hard hat, and safety glasses will be required at all times. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
