Possible / Mandatory General Laborer Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a technician, service contractor, or in maintenance-related work Strong mechanical aptitude with a hands-on approach to problem solving General knowledge of the construction industry required Experience working in K-12 school environments is a plus Ability to communicate effectively and work well with team members Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications Ability to work from aerial lifts at heights up to 50 feet General electrical knowledge is a plus Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Ability to pass a background check and work in and around elementary, middle, and high schools Ability to travel throughout the Southeast and Midwest with up to 75% overnight travel (home on weekends) Key Responsibilities Assist the Foreman with repairing, maintaining, and servicing sports facility equipment Assist with the installation of gymnasium equipment, bleachers, and related systems Support installation of indoor and outdoor scoreboards Assist with troubleshooting issues at customer job sites Operate equipment including lulls, lifts, dingos, and aerial platforms Assist with documenting maintenance, service, and repair information electronically Maintain accurate records of customer maintenance and service activities Help track and report missing or incorrect job site materials Maintain tools and equipment to ensure proper functionality Assist with tracking labor hours and project documentation Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment Lift and move materials ranging from 25-75 pounds throughout the workday Assist with driving company vehicles to and from job sites Support additional installation, maintenance, and repair projects as assigned About Crown Staffing Crown Staffing is hiring General Laborers to support installation, maintenance, and repair projects for sports facility equipment in Fisherville, KY.
