Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Day Laborer and be a vital part of diverse construction projects! This role offers an energetic environment where you'll contribute to various tasks on-site, supporting skilled trades and ensuring smooth project progress. Whether assisting with general labor, handling tools, or supporting specialized work, your efforts will help bring construction visions to life. This paid position is perfect for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Duties Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials and equipment on construction sites Support carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, and other trades with their tasks as needed Operate hand tools and power tools safely to aid in construction activities Prepare work areas by cleaning debris, setting up scaffolding, or moving supplies Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements when required Support heavy equipment operation under supervision and assist with site inspections Qualifications Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments Ability to read simple blueprints or schematics is a plus but not required Prior experience working on construction sites or with construction-related tasks is preferred Knowledge of construction safety standards and protocols Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Willingness to learn new skills such as blueprint reading, concrete finishing, or masonry techniques Reliable attendance and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role This position provides an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to gain practical experience across multiple facets of construction.
