They work on tasks ranging from framing walls and installing flooring to upgrading kitchens, bathrooms, and exterior structures. This role combines craftsmanship, problem-solving, and attention to detail—ensuring each project meets safety standards, design specifications, and client expectations. Duties Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers Carry out manual labor such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision, ensuring proper use and safety protocols are followed Support skilled tradespeople like carpenters, masons, and electricians with their tasks as needed Follow safety guidelines diligently to maintain a secure work environment for everyone on site Help with site cleanup and organization to keep the workspace tidy and efficient Participate in routine inspections and report any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly Skills Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods Good communication skills to understand instructions clearly and work effectively within a team Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures is preferred but not required—training will be provided Ability to follow directions carefully and adhere to safety standards at all times Willingness to learn new skills and take on diverse tasks in a construction setting Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for maintaining project schedules This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to start or advance their careers in construction.
