Landscape/Hardscape Construction Crew Member

Job Overview :

Landscape Construction Crew Members are responsible for general maintenance and preservation of trucks, trailers, and various equipment used within the Construction Department. Crew Members will assist the Crew Supervisor with loading/unloading materials needed for scheduled jobs. In addition to, completing scheduled jobs to specification: meeting the expectations and policies of the company, expectations of our customers, and industry standards. The Landscape Construction Crew Member should be able to perform all aspects of landscape, hardscape, pavers, and irrigation construction.

Landscape Construction Crew Member Responsibilities and Duties :

Installing retaining walls and laying pavers for patios, walkways, and driveways. Assist with maintenance check list. Report any broken equipment to Crew Supervisor. Maintain clean and organized trucks. Work in an efficient and timely manner to complete jobs. Assist in leaving jobsite aesthetically pleasing and free from debris. Assist in unloading debris from job site at the end of the day. Assist in preparing truck for the next day. Assist in keeping shop grounds clean of debris. Assist in unloading plant shipments onto plant pad when needed. Assist with care and hand weeding plant pad. Be punctual and fit for duty. Uniforms will be kept neat and worn at all times. Conduct work in a safe manner as per Company Policy. Treat coworkers, supervisors, and customers with respect. Maintain positive attitude and encourage others. Qualifications Be able to carry 50lbs 100ft. Be able to work in extreme heat and cold weather conditions. Be able to bend, stoop, and stand for long periods of time. Must have valid LA driver's license Must be able to carry 50 lbs for 100 yards. Must have valid USA paperword/identification. Must have a minimum 1 year of experience in the landscape industry with references to vouch. Join an experienced team of hard workers!
