This role is vital in ensuring the smooth flow of goods from delivery to storage, supporting overall warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of heavy lifting and operating various equipment to handle materials efficiently. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in warehouse distribution, heavy equipment operation, and shipping & receiving processes. Duties Unload trucks safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, clamp trucks, or forklifts Assist with order picking and loading to ensure accurate shipment preparation Operate heavy equipment including cranes, forklifts, and mechanical tools following OSHA safety standards Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and documentation in the warehouse management system Conduct visual inspections of incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies Use RF scanners for accurate inventory tracking and order fulfillment Support shipping & receiving activities by documenting all inbound and outbound loads accurately Experience Prior experience in warehouse distribution or shipping & receiving preferred Hands-on experience operating forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and mechanical systems beneficial Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners required Understanding of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and heavy equipment use Experience with order picking using picker or similar tools advantageous Construction or warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not mandatory Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to efficient logistics operations!
