In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting various construction projects by operating heavy machinery, assisting with site preparation, and ensuring safety and efficiency on the job site. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience will help drive projects forward while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in heavy equipment operation and construction processes while contributing to impactful infrastructure projects. Duties Operate a variety of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, horizontal drilling rigs, and paving machines to support construction activities. Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling to ensure smooth workflow. Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as Caterpillar machinery to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns. Follow safety protocols diligently and maintain a clean, organized work area to prevent accidents. Support the setup and breakdown of construction sites by moving materials and equipment efficiently. Collaborate with team members to execute project plans accurately and on schedule. Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, inspections, and work performed for project documentation. Experience 3 years experience working on construction sites with heavy equipment operation is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting is a strong asset. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or experience with commercial driving is desirable for operating dump trucks, water trucks, tankers, or other transport vehicles. Hands-on experience operating excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, or similar machinery is essential. Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and paving operations will be advantageous. Knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to construction equipment operation is required.
