Job Title:
General laborer/Carpenter Pay $20-32 Job Description We are seeking an entry-level Field Technician to join our team on unique projects across central and southern Maine. This is an exciting opportunity to learn a growing trade and be a part of our company from the ground level. You will be involved in projects that focus on making homes, both new and existing, more eco-friendly by testing their ability to retain hot or cold air. The demand for this testing is increasing as buildings age. Responsibilities Set up and break down blower door systems. Assist in learning and executing tasks related to our general contracting side. Participate in projects aimed at enhancing the eco-friendliness of homes. Essential Skills Basic understanding of construction and building systems. Proficiency in carpentry and the use of hand tools. Knowledge of insulation techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications Team player with a great attitude. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, ME. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
