Construction Laborer Beulah, MI 49617 $22 an hour - Full-time $22 an hour - Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures, assisting skilled tradespeople with various tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects across commercial, residential, and restoration sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting diverse aspects of construction work. Responsibilities Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials for efficient workflow Perform heavy lifting of materials such as concrete blocks, rebar, and framing components to support construction activities Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks like cutting, drilling, and assembling structural elements Support concrete work by mixing, pouring, finishing, and pumping concrete as needed on various projects Install rebar and metal studs according to schematics and blueprints to reinforce concrete structures or framing systems Assist with masonry tasks including bricklaying, stucco application, tile laying, and stonework restoration Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications; follow instructions from supervisors accurately Support carpentry activities such as trim carpentry, framing, roofing, and drywall installation Perform demolition or renovation tasks including plastering, caulking, flooring installation, and window/door trimming Operate heavy equipment like forklifts or concrete pumps when certified; adhere to safety protocols at all times Experience Prior construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with general construction processes and safety standards preferred. Hands-on experience with concrete forming, finishing, and pouring techniques Skilled in using a variety of hand tools and power tools for different construction tasks Experience in masonry, framing, or restoration projects is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout long shifts Valid driver's license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment is a plus but not mandatory Join us in building exceptional structures while advancing your skills in a vibrant team environment!
