Full-time | Monday-Friday | 40+ hours Job Overview Turner Design Group is a growing, woman-owned landscape design-build company serving Howell, Brighton, and the greater Livingston County area. We are hiring Landscape Construction Technicians / Landscape Team Leaders to support high-quality residential and select commercial landscape installation projects. This position is open to both technicians with little experience as well as established team leaders. Responsibilities, pay, and leadership expectations will be based on experience, with clear opportunities for advancement. Who This Role Is For Those with no landscape experience who learn well with hands on training Team leaders looking for a stable, organized company Candidates who value quality work, safety, and teamwork Individuals seeking long-term, year-over-year employment Key Responsibilities Perform landscape construction tasks including planting, grading, mulching, sod and hardscape installation, and snow removal Operate hand tools, power tools, and small engine equipment safely Load and unload trucks, trailers, materials, and equipment Assist with construction of patios, walkways, decks, and landscape features Read and interpret landscape plans and job specifications Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites Communicate professionally with clients on-site Follow all company safety policies and PPE requirements Lead and supervise a crew of 1-3 employees (based on experience) Delegate daily tasks and monitor quality, safety, and productivity (based on experience) Plan labor, materials, and equipment to meet project timelines (based on experience) Complete daily reports and time tracking using the LMN Crew App Train and mentor crew members as needed (based on experience) Qualifications No prior experience needed for landscape technicians. Some experience with landscape construction and leadership experience for team leaders Ability to operate landscape and construction equipment safely Ability to read and follow landscape plans and directions Strong communication and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physically able to lift 50-80 lbs and perform outdoor labor Valid driver's license with a safe driving record preferred Comfortable using a smartphone or mobile app for job reporting Work Environment Outdoor work in all seasonal weather conditions Fast-paced, physically active job sites Regular work near trucks, trailers, and equipment Occasional weekend work as needed Pay & Benefits $18-30+ per hour depending on experience and responsibilities Paid Time Off accrued from date of hire and paid holidays Professional development and advancement opportunities Simple IRA retirement plan eligibility after one year with match Why Work With Turner Design Group?
