Construction Yard Worker

Job Summary Join our dynamic construction yard team as a Construction Yard Worker, where your energy and dedication will drive the efficient operation of our site. In this vital role, you will be responsible for handling materials, operating heavy equipment, and supporting the logistics of construction projects. Duties Load and unload construction materials using forklifts, Skidsteers, and other heavy equipment Operate machinery safely to move large or heavy items around the yard Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately Assist with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely delivery and dispatch of materials Conduct regular safety inspections adhering to OSHA standards and report any hazards or incidents Support warehouse management by organizing storage areas, stacking materials properly, and maintaining cleanliness Collaborate with team members to execute order picking, load & unload tasks, and materials handling efficiently Maintaining the quality of the material and equipment Qualifications Proven experience in warehousing or construction yard operations Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, backhoes, Excavators, and Telehandlers. Knowledge of warehousing and shipping & receiving procedures Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment maintenance is a plus Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in construction logistics while ensuring safety and efficiency on-site.
