Job Summary We are looking for a hardworking, reliable Masonry Laborer to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing construction sites, supplying masons with materials, mixing mortar, operating basic tools, and cleaning up work areas to ensure efficient project completion.
Responsibilities Material Handling:
Load, unload, and transport materials (brick, stone, block, mortar) to work areas and scaffolding.
Mixing:
Use mixing equipment to prepare mortar, grout, and cement to proper consistency.
Support:
Assist masons by cutting brick/block, setting up scaffolding, and cleaning up debris.
Site Prep:
Dig trenches, set braces, and clean surfaces using tools like trowels and power washers.
Maintenance:
Clean tools, equipment, and work areas regularly.
Safety:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements Physical Ability:
Must be able to lift/move over 70 lbs consistently, work at heights, and stand/bend/kneel for long periods.
Experience:
Previous construction or masonry experience is preferred but not required—will train the right candidate.
Work Ethic:
Strong commitment to safety and quality, with a willingness to learn.
Tools:
Familiarity with basic hand/power tools.
Reliability:
Valid transportation and punctuality are essential.
